From Texas to Brazil..well not quite, Islington actually.

From one of the Harvest Team

I recently visited Rodizio Rico, a Brazilian Barbeque restaurant. Having never eaten this South American food I didn’t really know what to expect. Well, nothing prepared me for the meat intoxication that was to become my night. The smell of barbequing meat hits you before even entering the restaurant! This is not your average buffet style restaurant. We piled our plates high at the free flowing salad bar which serves a variety of salads, pickled vegetables and sauces as well as more traditional rice dishes and banana frites (disguised as potato croquettes).  The waiters come round with big chunks of succulent skewered meat and carve bits off at your table.  As well as these, they served spicy chorizo and dinky chicken hearts for the more adventurous, which only I seemed to find appetizing. My favorite had to be the tender, cholesterol inducing beef stuffed with cheese. I’ve been told this place isn’t as good as the Rodizio’s in Brazil- but without the sunshine and vibes of Rio De Janeiro you cant expect to capture true authenticity especially on a cold Saturday night in the heart of London. If you love meat, this place is for you. If you’re a veggie, I suggest you stay at home.
